Danielle Izzo Kubichko
OWNER | ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Danielle began her dance training at The Dance Workshop, Inc. at the age of two. She is trained in all of the classical genres including, ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical and has studied under some of the industry's top names. After completing her Master's Degree in Adolescent Education and Special Education she began teaching students with special needs in a high school in Southern Westchester, all while teaching dance classes in the evening. Realizing that dance and choreography were her true passions, she left public education and became partners with her mother Peggy at The Dance Workshop, Inc. Danielle is committed to her art and continues to be a student herself. She frequently attends dance conventions as well as business seminars to ensure that Dance12Twenty provides the highest quality experience to all dancers and clients. Together, Peggy and Danielle, strive to provide young dancers with an experience that will foster a love for the art of dance as well as the training required to pursue dance on the professional level.
Peggy Izzo
OWNER | FOUNDER
Peggy has been a dance educator in this area for over 40 years. Her earliest education took place in New York City and Southern Westchester County, New York. It included teachers and choreographers in all of the classic genres (tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, and acrobatics) and she studied with professionals from the Joffery Ballet and the Rockettes, to name a few. Before establishing The Dance Workshop, Inc. in 1978 she worked for various school districts in their after-school programs. These included Peekskill, Croton Harmon, and Hendrick Hudson. Her youngest daughter Danielle joined her in Dance12Twenty, ensuring that the quality dance education that Dance12Twenty has offered will continue for years to come.
Kelly Mazzola
RESIDENT TEACHER
TAP, JAZZ, MUSICAL THEATRE
Kelly began dancing at the age of three at her home studio Betty Jeans in Hopewell Junction, NY where she trained in tap, jazz, ballet, and lyrical; she also competed in regional dance competitions. Additionally, she took classes from dance professionals and Broadway veterans in New York City and Mamaroneck, NY for tap and jazz. Kelly graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a Bachelors in Business and a Minor in Dance. She was also captain of her Kickline team and was very active in the Geneseo Dance Ensemble. After college, she was recruited by the Wappingers County Players as the Assistant Choreographer in Grease and was the Lead Choreographer for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Kelly began teaching for Dance 1220 in 2015 and currently teaches tap, jazzs and choreographs for the competition team. She is proud to be part of such a warm studio and truly believes she can teach anyone how to tap.
Emily Ingersoll
RESIDENT TEACHER
BALLET, LYRICAL
Emily Patricia Ingersoll native of Mahwah, New Jersey grew up dancing competitively and received various awards for doing so. After graduating high school she began teaching and choreographing on young students and has won numerous awards for her choreography. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Montclair State University in 2018 with a BFA in Dance. She was awarded the Linda Roberts Outstanding Senior Award by the Department of Theater and Dance at Montclair State for exemplary academic and artistic excellence. During her time at Montclair State, She performed in works by Martha Graham, Larry Keigwin, Shapiro and Smith, Christian von Howard, Nancy Lushington, Jessica DiMauro, Fredrick Earl Mosley and many more. She has performed in venues such as New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Madison Square Garden, Manhattan Movement and Art Center, City Center Studios Graham Studios NYC, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and The Kennedy Center. She also took part in the American College Dance Association event in both 2017 and 2018 and was selected to perform at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. in June 2018. While there she received the Dance Magazine Award for Outstanding Performance. Emily is a current member of Freespace Dance Company after joining September of 2018. She dances and teaches dance in public schools via the Dance To Learn Program under the umbrella of Freespace. Emily is also a Certified Pure Barre instructor.
Rocco Notaro
RESIDENT TEACHER
HIP HOP
Rocco Notaro trained in NYC, Duchess County, throughout New Jersey and has had a thriving career which started at a young age. During his competition/convention years he has earned multiple regional titles, national titles, scholarships, and was an audition finalist for a dance tv show. After graduating he continues his love for dance while touring with various dance competitions and is the founder of Industry Dance Challenge. You can also see him working his craft through commercials and performances he’s been casted in. Rocco will always challenge young dancers with innovative and creative choreography to push them to the next level and make them their best!

CONTEMPORARY, TECCHNIQUE
Emilee Pratt, originally from Rochester, NY, grew up training with The Rochester City Ballet. They then went on to earn their BFA in Dance and Composition from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance. Throughout their career they have performed modern and contemporary works by Doug Varone, Loni Landon, Manuel Vignouelle, and many more artists. Emilee is currently a freelance dancer and choreographer for various companies throughout New York City as well as the artistic director of their own company Spare/Change Dance Collective. Their work has been featured in festivals throughout the US and in various music videos. Emilee is also a judge/master teacher with Groove Dance Competition, where they hope to connect with and inspire many young dancers throughout their dance career!

Jessie Snowden

ACRO
Jessie Snowden, originally from Ossining, NY
grew up taking gymnastics from the age of 6 through high school. She began her career at the age of 14 at Straddles Gymnastics, where she taught classes to children ages 2 and up, and co-coached their gymnastics team. Through high school, college, and two pregnancies, she always found herself back at the gym, teaching children of all ages the fundamentals of gymnastics and tumbling.
Jessie received her Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management. She taught her first acro class at Dance1220 with Miss Peggy in 2015, and was hooked ever since! She loves being a part of all of these dancer’s journeys while helping them build strength, flexibility, and the confidence to tumble.
Brianna Harbolic
STUDENT TEACHER
HIP HOP
Brianna began her dance training at the age of three and is now entering her fifth competitive dance season with Dance1220. She also currently trains with Koin&Co, a NYC training company. She has taken classes and trained with multiple industry professionals at Dance1220, Koin&Co and Broadway Dance Center. Along with being a competitive dancer, she has also done multiple performances including the White Wave Dumbo Dance festival, the Peridance Youth Showcase and many more.
